As a technically-driven architect, Mary ensures that design and documents are well-coordinated, that details are efficient and constructible, and that program requirements are met on all of her projects. She is inspired by the challenges each project presents, but more importantly by the relationships she cultivates with clients and colleagues alike. At Finegold Alexander she manages diverse design and construction teams, and values energetic collaboration as it allows the team to create something worthwhile.
Mary extends the importance she places on connection in her professional life into her personal one. She cultivates one-on-one connections as a reading mentor for elementary students through the non-profit Read to a Child, as an active member of her church, and as co-chair of the Women in Design ABX committee for the Boston Society of Architects. She also volunteers for the Boston Marathon and has captained her ultimate frisbee team for the past seven years.
