Maddie Laberge joined Finegold Alexander with a Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in Sustainable Construction Management from Syracuse University. Over the past five years, Maddie has honed her skills working on large-scale K-12 projects, vocational-technical schools, and additions/renovations, with a particular focus on new construction. She enjoys the dynamic challenges of construction administration, which offers opportunities for hands-on problem-solving and collaboration on-site.
Maddie also has a passion for the artistic side of architecture, particularly hand sketching, rendering, and 3D modeling, and looks forward to contributing her skills to the firm’s creative process. With a strong interest in sustainability, she plans to pursue LEED accreditation to deepen her knowledge of environmentally responsible design.
Outside of work, Maddie loves spending time on the Outer Cape, especially in the quieter months of September and October. Now that she has completed her licensing exams, she is rediscovering her passion for reading in her downtime.

Favorite mode of transportation? Trains! I don’t have a car in the city, so I love taking the T or Commuter Rail around the city and getting home to visit family.
Defunct restaurant/store that you miss the most? King & I – a Beacon Hill and Boston Thai restaurant staple.
Favorite kitchen appliance? KitchenAid stand mixer. I don’t currently have one, but when I move to an apartment with more counter space, that’s first on my list.
Do you collect anything? Fridge magnets from places I’ve traveled. I usually try to buy the most unique one.
