Juanita is a current Master of Architecture student at the Boston Architectural College who recently graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She is from Medellin, Colombia but has moved around most of her life with her family, having lived in South Korea and Qatar. Experiencing different countries and cultures has allowed Juanita to be exposed to varying forms of architecture and communities worldwide. Juanita has experience in Interior Architecture and hopes to continue to grow and become a licensed architect in the following years. As Juanita enters her final year of the M.Arch program, she looks forward to developing a thesis that researches better ways to advocate for communities.

Favorite thing about Boston's North End? The food! My favorite restaurant so far is called Saracena which has some incredible pasta.
Do you love or hate rollercoasters? I am a big fan of rollercoasters! However, I draw the line at drop tower-style attractions.
Favorite family tradition? During Christmas and New Years, my family has a tradition of playing Secret Santa despite living in different countries. Now with more members in the family, Secret Santa gets more and more interesting each year!
Do you collect anything? Funko Pops! I have a growing display with a variety of them from my favorite shows and movies.
