Adam studied Philosophy at Northeastern University and Architecture at the University of Oregon. He is an architect who is constantly curious - about the historic context of each project, how a building serves its stakeholders, and how buildings integrate with their broader environment.
Adam has experience with a range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects and is dedicated to every phase of the design and construction process. He is particularly passionate about creating spaces that unite people with plants and nature.

Favorite thing about your career? I love that my career is multifaceted. Architecture is abstract and concrete – and I feel privileged to participate in designing places for people and our ecosystem.
Any hobbies? In the wilderness, I enjoy fishing and backpacking. In the city, I like gardening and playing piano.
What languages do you speak? I was raised speaking Japanese and English. I aim to blend Eastern and Western traditions into my life and architecture practice.
