Project Details
Bowdoin College Moulton Union
Finegold Alexander designed the new dining facility, which occupies the entire basement level and can accommodate 300-350 people, with support areas located on the first floor. The upper two floors house offices for the Dean of the College and Class Deans, Registrar, Foreign Study, and Career Services. Designed by McKim, Mead and White and completed in 1928, Moulton Union served as Bowdoin College's student union and campus dining facility for 66 years. The construction of a new union building enabled Bowdoin to renovate Moulton Union to accommodate expanded food service and new administrative offices.
