Finegold Alexander is pleased to announce the promotion of Marketing Manager Lauren Hickey and Senior Project Manager Steve Walnut to Associate! At our recent Quarterly Meeting and as we kick off the new fiscal year, Finegold Alexander leadership recognized both Lauren and Steve for their significant contributions to the Firm’s success this past year. We are grateful for their continued hard work, considerable expertise, generous mentorship of their fellow colleagues, and friendly approach to daily life here at Finegold Alexander.

Lauren manages Finegold Alexander’s marketing efforts, including the proposal and interview process, business development, professional photography, social media campaigns, and public relations. With over 10 years of experience in marketing, her focus has been in the AEC and commercial real estate sectors. Lauren brings a rigorous yet collaborative approach to conceptualize and executes the firm’s marketing strategies, tapping resources firm-wide. She was also recently elevated to the role of Director of the Special Events Committee for the Boston chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS). Lauren is an integral part of the Finegold Alexander team and spearheads the marketing department with grit and good humor.

Steve is an experienced and flexible team leader with an extensive work background in a wide variety of project types, with a special interest in adaptive reuse and historic preservation. Bringing over 24 years of experience in design, management, and construction, Steve joined Finegold Alexander as a Senior Project Manager where he oversees his teams to bring complex projects to life. Steve’s career focus has been building relationships with clients, contractors, and design professionals to reach the project’s goals and fullest potential. Steve is an essential member of the team and has made a significant impact on projects such as Boston University’s Kilachand Hall, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and the renovation of Eaton Hall at Tufts University.
