We are happy to announce that the schematic design elements for an expanded and renovated Jones Library have been endorsed by the Jones Library Building Committee. Finegold Alexander’s design proposed a comprehensive renovation of the existing historic building and a three-story addition to the rear. The expanded library will meet contemporary needs, addressing accessibility issues while introducing upgrades to security, the HVAC system, and technology. Representatives from our team received unanimous support for the plans from the committee, including Library Director Sharon Sharry, who has mentioned that the staff is thrilled that their requests are being honored.
