Congratulations to Finegold Alexander Architects Associate Erin Flaherty, AIA along with her team of collaborators for being chosen for the AIA Kansas City Outstanding Service Award in recognition of their Explore Architecture booklet and video series! The AIA Kansas City Education Outreach Committee & NOMA KC team consisting of Erin, Jennifer Berka, AIA , Bill Bourne, AIA, Laura Beth Cochran, AIA, James Evrard, AIA, Matthew Hollingsworth, Associate AIA, Sarah Kempf, AIA, Wilson Meeks, Dominic Musso, Associate AIA and Sarina Shanks, developed a comprehensive informational booklet covering a range of topics as a resource for someone considering to pursue a career in architecture in the area of Kansas City.
The award recognizes the teams’ “powerful collaboration and significant efforts to create the “Explore Architecture!” education packet and video series... [creating] learning materials and bringing awareness to the architecture profession to students interested in those careers.”
