Progress on the new Gladstone Elementary School in Cranston, Rhode Island is moving along smoothly and on schedule to open in 2026! Each week, the Finegold Alexander project team visits the construction site to review progress and meet with the Jacobs and Gilbane Construction Company project teams.

Our team is working closely with the City of Cranston on the design of the 100,000 SF school that replaces the 1950s-era school. The school will house 798 students from grades K through 5, consolidating the city’s Gladstone and Arlington Elementary Schools in one.

From sketch to model to drawing, it's exciting to see the school become a built structure! See the progress below including the recently completed exterior metal stud framing.
