Finegold Alexander Architects, an award-winning architecture firm in Boston, has an immediate full-time position available for a Marketing Coordinator. The firm’s practice serves higher education, cultural, institutional, public, and private development clients on a broad range of project types with design for new construction, renovations, preservation, and adaptive use.

The candidate will work closely with the Marketing Manager and with FA’s Principals. The position will have a primary focus on the creation, development, and completion of proposals and qualifications, interviews and awards submissions with a supporting role in a variety of other marketing and communications activities.
Working with the marketing manager and firm leaders, the candidate will generate writing and graphic content to:
-Create high-quality, customized proposals, qualifications, brochure packages, and award submissions.
-Prepare for project interviews and presentations including developing PowerPoint presentations and participation in rehearsals.
-Create publications, advertisements, emailers, displays, and other marketing materials as needed.
-Coordinate and contribute to pursuits including consultant team coordination, meeting scheduling, and production scheduling.
-Responsible for maintaining marketing collateral, information libraries, and databases.
-Develop a strong understanding of all projects and markets; contribute to marketing strategy.
-Contribute to and participate in a variety of activities when needed to support various PR, business development, internal, and external communications including website and social media.
A 4-year degree from an accredited institution in marketing & communications, journalism, English, or public relations is strongly preferred. 3 to 5 years experience, ideally in an A/E/C marketing or public relations role, or similar marketing, media, or media relations experience is required. Additionally, the candidate will demonstrate:

-Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
-Ability to able to work in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment, work under pressure on multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
-Strong communication/relationship building skills, timely and accurate information-sharing, and outstanding organization skills are a must.
-Strong critical thinking capabilities, innate curiosity and an ability to absorb information and learn quickly are vital.
-A passion for design and a keen interest in the architecture and design profession are necessary.
-Understanding of concepts, practices, and procedures in the architectural design profession are a plus.
-Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Especially InDesign and Photoshop), MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Deltek Vision, social media platforms, and WordPress.
